Bethea, Philip Osborne.
Philip Osborne Bethea (1901-1979) graduated from Davidson College in 1922. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, varsity football, and the "D" Club. Bethea later served on the Davidson College Board of Trustees and was president of the national Alumni Association. He received the Davidson Colelge Alumni Service Award in 1973.
