Edward Conigland (1819-1877) was an Irish immigrant, lawyer, member of the North Carolina constitutional convention of 1865, and counsel for Governor William W. Holden at his impeachment, 1871.

Conigland was married to Mary Eliza Tillery in 1847. In 1854 he was married to Mary Wyatt Ezell (fl. 1838-1866) of Northampton County, N.C. His daughter was Frances Fanny Conigland Faringholt (fl. 1890-1907).
