Poirier, Robert G.

Robert G. Poirier graduated with the Norwich University class of 1966. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War and a recipient of the Bronze Star. Poirier served forty-two months of active duty and more than twenty years of reserve duty. He is the author of numerous articles and several books including, Red Army Order of Battle (Presidio Press, 1985) and By the Blood of Our Alumni: Norwich University Citizen Soldiers in the Army of the Potomac (Savas Publishing Company, 1999). The Kreitzberg Library as well as Special Collections have copies of Robert Poirier's books.
