Steetle, Ralph Waldo, 1912-
Ralph Steetle received a bachelor's degree in 1934 and a master's degree in linguistics in 1938, both from Louisiana State University. He was the first Director of Broadcasting at LSU, founded the university's FM radio station WLSU, and was a pioneer in developing American public television.
