Kate (Katie) Tittmann was a founder of the Washington Club and a charter member and former national treasurer-general of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was married to Dr. O.H.Tittmann, former president of the National Geographic Society and head of the Coast and Geodetic Survey. Born in Detroit, she came to Washington following her marriage and remained in the city for 23 years before moving to Leesburg, Virginia.
