Leonard, Lee (Jay Leeson), 1939-
Jay Leeson (Lee) Leonard was born in Summit, New Jersey and graduated from Cornell University in 1963 in agriculture comunications. He joined United Press International, reporting on state government in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He transferred to Columbus, Ohio in 1969 becoming UPI Statehouse Bureau Manager. He joined the Columbus Dispatch newspaper in 1990 as statehouse reporter, retiring in 2005.
