Blair, Omar.
Born July 16, 1918. Tuskegee Airman. First African American president of the Denver (Colo.) Board of Education. Led effort to desegregate school system in the 1970s. Died March 25, 2004. Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library (Denver, Colo.) was named in his honor.
