Skinner, La Una De Cordova, d. 1963
La Una De Cordova Skinner, born in Collinsville, Texas, was state poet laureate and a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT). She was granddaughter of early Texan Jacob De Cordova (1808-1868) and Rebecca Sterling De Cordova. Skinner was approved April 7, 1936 to the James Butler Bonham Chapter of the DRT. La Una De Cordova was married to John William Skinner, Sr. Mrs. Skinner died October 28, 1963.
