Leland, Claude Granger, 1873-1950.
Claude G. Leland (1874?-1950) was the Superintendent of Libraries for the Board of Education of New York City from 1903 to 1943. He served in the U.S. Army from 1898 to 1903 and again from 1914 to 1919.
