Psychologist, author, religious educator. Born 1920 in Vancouver, Washington. Received B.A. from William Jewel College (1942); Master of Religious Education (1945), Doctor of Education (1949). Served extensively in the leadership of family life conferences, mental health clinics and the psychology of salesmanship. Author of several books, including four book-of-the-month club selections. Taught at Southern Illinois University (1946-1948), Mississippi College (1948-1951), and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1951-1960, 1963-), and Howard Payne College (1960-1963).
