Polson, Joseph.
Thomas Cresap (1702-1790) was an English trader and pioneer who migrated to America ca. 1717. He acted as an intermediary between the colonial government, the Iroquois, and the Cherokees. Joseph Polson was from Hampshire County, now part of West Virginia.
