Weeks, Carl
Carl Weeks, a resident of Des Moines, Iowa, spent several weeks in St. George, Utah, in 1901 recovering from tuberculosis. During his stay, he visited Zion Canyon, taking some of the earliest photographs of the area. For fifty years he toured various scenic areas in Utah, becoming an early advocate for their preservation.
