Vaughan family.
James Millard Vaughan, also known as Perch, Tunney, and Jimmy, was the son of Clifton Mahlon and Frances Edna Vaughan (Frances Vaughan later married John H. Monroe). James Vaughan was inducted into the U.S. Army at Camp Lee, Va., on 29 Dec. 1942 and served as a power plant operator in the 840th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. He was separated from the army at Fort Bragg, N.C., on 30 Jan. 1946.
