Adams family.
Spencer Adams and members of his family lived and worked in Wilcox County, Ala., where they owned a farm during the nineteenth century. Timoleon Adams, Spencer's son, operated a general merchandise store in Mobile, Ala., during the same period. John and Tosh Adams, Timoleon's sons, served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War.
