Guess, Sam, 1903-1989
Sam Guess served as state senator from the sixth legislative district from 1962 to 1986. Before his election in 1962, Guess had served in the Army Corps of Engineers and as executive secretary of the Inland Empire Chapter of the Associated General Contractors. For 24 years he was one of the most outspoken and influential Republicans in the Washington State Senate.
