Peace Lutheran Church (Otis Orchards, Wash.)
A Steering Committee began to meet on April 14, 1980. The first service was held at Otis Orchards Elementary School on September 7, 1980, led by Rev. Donald Reese. The congregation organized on February 15, 1981, with Bishop Clarence Solberg leading the worship. Groundbreaking was held on Reformation Day, October 31, 1982. Construction of the church began in November, it being the first Passive Solar Church in Washington. Dedication of the church was held January 23, 1983, with Bishop Clifford Lunde as preacher.
