Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of Friends (Hicksite : 1827-1955). Book Committee.
A Committee on Books and Pamphlets was appointed by Representative Committee as part of its mandate in 1829 to procure and distribute such materials "as are calculated to spread the knowledge of the principles of the Society of Friends."
