Variant names1981 (July) College of Commerce Industry established as successor to the College of Industrial Management and Textile Science. Ryan Amacher named Dean. College organized into three schools: Accountancy, Business, and Textiles. Jim Davis named Director of Accountancy, and Ed Vaughn Director of Textiles. 1988 (March) Jimmy D. Sheriff named Associate Dean.
