Lunday, Philip A., 1924-
Philip A. Lunday was born in Billings, Mont. in 1924 and joined the Army in 1943. At the time of enlistment he was unmarried and had attended one year of college. Before joining the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Swift, Tex., Lunday received his basic training at Camp Fannin, Tex., with additional training at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind. He was assigned to the 126th Mountain Engineers, Company D.
