Professor Emeritus of Horticulture, Department of Horticultural Sciences at Geneva, NY. Areas of expertise include plant breeding, sweet cherry genetics, plum breeding, apricot breeding, variety testing, rootstock testing, and adult education relating to deciduous tree fruit production. From 1985 to 1990 he served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Horticultural Sciences at NYS Agricultural Experiment Station, Geneva, New York. He retired July 14, 2004.
