Mess, George Joseph, 1898-1962
Variant namesMess was an Indianapolis, Ind. artist and teacher. In 1925 he married Evelynne Bernloer, an artist, and the couple taught and worked together until his death in 1962. Though they worked in a variety of media, the Messes are best remembered for their printmaking.
