Indian agent, businessman.

Brennan came to the Black Hills of Dakota from Denver in 1875. In 1876 he was a founder of Rapid City, S.D., later owning the Hotel Harney. He acted as Superintendent of Pine Ridge Agency for 16 years (1900-1917).
