Collier Read Granberry (1899-1962) was an instructor and professor of electrial engineering at the University of Texas (1926-1962) and parliamentarian of the Texas House of Representatives for 18 legislatures (1915-1962).

Austin native Collier Read Granberry (1899-1962) received a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Texas (1924), where he subsequently served as an instructor and professor of electrical engineering (1926-1962) and held various administrative positions. Granberry also served as parliamentarian of the Texas House of Representatives for 18 legislatures (1915-1962) and drafted the state’s first automobile headlight inspection law (1925).
