Whorwood, William, fl. 1665-1667.
William Whorwood was probably not the "son of Sir Thomas [i.e. Brome] and Lady Jane Whorwood, of Halton, Oxfordshire, the ardent royalists . . ." as the description pasted on to the endleaf attests, as Brome and Jane Whorwood only had one son, named Brome, who drowned in 1657, and Brome Whorwood's one illegitimate son, named Thomas, was born in 1664.
From the description of Accounts of William Whorwood [manuscript], ca. 1665-1667. (Folger Shakespeare Library). WorldCat record id: 610042092
