Thomas Kay Historical Park.
Thomas Kay Historical Park was a project of the Mission Mill Museum, Salem, Or. The Thomas Kay Woolen Mill Co. was established in 1889, with the existing mill constructed in 1896. The company closed between 1958 and 1962. The Mill Museum Corporation bought the property in 1965, with plans to restore the mill as a museum of wool technology.
