Robert John "Bobby" Williams played football at David B. Oliver High School, Pittsburgh, Pa., from which he graduated in January 1942. He attended The Pennsylvania State College where he played football on the varsity team which won the 1947 Cotton Bowl championship. Williams later coached football at Greensburg Salem High School, Greensburg, Pa., 1955-1975.
