Middleton, Richard, 1882-1911
Variant namesRichard Barham Middleton was born in Middlesex in 1882 and he attended British schools before working as a clerk for the Royal Assurance Exchange Corp. After seven years Middleton resigned to pursue a bohemian.
literary career. Middleton, the melancholy romantic, ended his own life at age 29 during a visit to Brussels. Five of his works were published posthumously.
