D. Albert Soeffing is one of the premier American silver historians. He has written a book on Victorian silver and a number of articles on various silver topics. The son of Edwin and Harriet Soeffing, he was raised in Rochester, New York. He received his B.A. in history from St. John Fisher College and his M.A. in history from Fordham University.
