Dickey, Patsy
Patsy (Hamilton) Dickey was born in North Carolina in 1926. After graduating from Indiana University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Art Literature, she married Thomas Dickey, brother of writer James Dickey, and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Patsy and Thomas had two children, a son Thomas Jr., and daughter, Dorian. While maintaining various administrative positions in businesses and universities, Patsy Dickey has written short stories, poems, essays and a novel, Bellcat and Pigboy (2006). Her work has been published in CREATIVE LOAFING, ATLANTA, and THE CHATTAHOOCHEE REVIEW. She is also an artist.
