The Vancouver, Victoria and Eastern Railway and Navigation Company was incorporated in 1897 in British Columbia to construct railway lines in southern British Columbia, specifically from Vancouver to New Westminster and to Rossland, and to connect with railways in Washington (State). The Great Northern Railway Company achieved corporate control in 1900, established additional lines, and purchased both the Victoria Terminal Railway and Ferry Company in 1907 and the Vancouver, Westminster and Yukon Railway Company in 1908. The corporation was liquidated in 1944 and was legally dissolved in 1964.
