Dakota Territory. Governor (1869-1874 : Burbank)
Born at Centerville, Indiana in 1827 and died in Richmond, Indiana, December 19, 1905. Interested more in personal gain than his governorship, Burbank was forced to resign due to complaints and pressure from Dakotans.
