Noble Family.
William Arthur Noble (1866-1945) was a pioneer Methodist missionary to Korea. He and his wife Mattie Wilcox Noble, travelled to Korea for the first time in 1892. Their children were born there, including their son, historian, Harold J. Noble, (? - 1953) who was once called "the greatest living American authority on Northeast Asia."
