Sangamon County (Ill.). County Commissioners Court.
First meeting of the County Commissioners Court, April 1821, with Zachariah Peter, Rivers Cormack and William Drennan as commissioners. They appointed Charles R. Matheny as clerk and ordered John Linsey, Stephen Stillman and John Robison to be nominated to the Governor to be named Justices of the Peace for the county.
