Sterrett, William Wilson, 1825-1913.

Sterrett was a postmaster and a Mormon pioneer, missionary, and patriarch. He served in the war with Mexico. He stopped in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1850 on the way to the gold fields in California. He joined the Mormon Church in 1851. He helped build Fort Supply in Wyoming and served in the Elk Mountain Mission for the Mormon Church. He lived in Salt Lake City, Beaver, and Cove, Utah as well as Paris, Idaho.
