Dr. Andrew J. and Mary Hord Lansdowne had two daughters. Juliet married Frank Powers, who was active in Kentucky politics for a brief period. Another daughter, Daisy Lansdowne Osenton, was the mother of Charles Osenton, a Georgetown University law graduate who was Democratic minority leader in the West Virginia Senate at the turn of the century.
