National Air and Space Museum (U.S.). Executive Officer.

The position of Executive Officer was created in 1973 and assigned to John Whitelaw, who had previously served as Administrative Officer from 1971 until 1972. Whitelaw remained as Executive Officer until 1978, when Walter J. Boyne became Acting Executive Officer. Boyne became Executive Officer in 1978 and held the title until 1979 when the position was abolished.
