It is published by Kadam Dance and Music Ltd., and began publication in 2002. Kadam began in 1991, with the intention of working to raise the profile of South Asian dance in Bedfordshire and elsewhere in the country. It has grown from a small group to an important dance development agency, providing education, resources, and staging dance performances. The publication of “Pulse” plays a major role in achieving these aims.
