Whaling vessel; out of New Bedford, Mass.; mastered by Sylvester Hathaway, on voyage from 12 Oct. 1858-1 June 1859; owner-agent: William Phillips & Son; built at Fairhaven, Mass., 1854; lost at Hiva Oa (French Polynesia) on 1 June 1859 (ending this voyage).
