Rich, Edgar J. (Edgar Judson), 1864-1948
Variant namesLawyer. Educated at Harvard (A.B., 1887; LL. B., A.M., 1891). Became an attorney with the Boston and Maine Railroad (1892) eventually becoming head of the law department. In 1916 Rich became associate counsel of the Railway Executives' Advisory Committee. His specialty was interstate commerce law. He was a member of the original faculty of the Harvard Business School, serving as lecturer on transportation (1908-1932).
