The Indiana University Oral History Research Center received an Indiana Heritage Research Grant to document and evaluate the role of county historical societies as preservers of Indiana's history and cultural heritage. The project produced 11 transcribed, edited, and indexed interviews with 14 historical society members from seven societies, and slides taken at the societies.
