Pennsylvania Railroad Company. Office of Division Passenger Agent , Philadelphia.
The Pennsylvania Railroad Company created offices of Division Passenger Agents on March 1, 1913, replacing the earlier offices of Division Ticket Agent and District Passenger Agent. Division Passenger Agents were located at major nodal points around the PRR system, and their territories originally corresponded to all or part of a Grand Division in the Transportation (Operating) Department. With the advent of the Nine-Region organization on November 1, 1955, the Division Passenger Agents were replaced by Passenger Managers at the regional level.
