Conant, Hezekiah, 1827-1902
Hezekiah Conant (1827-1902) was an inventor and manufacturer from Dudley, Mass., and responsible for many improvements in the manufacture of thread. He was a direct descendant of Roger Conant (1592-1679), founder and first governor of Salem.
