Washington (State). Constitutional Convention (1878)
The first Constitutional Convention of Washington State was held in Walla Walla, WA beginnning in June 1878. The constitution that was ratified by this convention was never adopted. Delegates came together again in 1889 and approved the text of the Washington State Constitution.
