Resident of New Haven, Conn.; served with U.S. Air Corps in France during World War I; from 1926-1940 served as vice-president in charge of research at Fuel Development Corporation in New York City, manufacturers of ANILOL, a fuel additive used for airplanes; from 1928-1929 also served as president of Kimball Aircraft Corporation, Naugatuck, Conn.; during World War II was senior engineer at Bureau of Standards, Washington, D.C., and also a member of the Civil Air Patrol; from 1950-1961 worked for AVCO Corporation and by 1961 was appointed dean of the Northeast Institute of Technology in New Haven.
