Born in Winchester, Va., April 9, 1793. 1821: Pension Agent of Indiana at Ft. Wayne; 1830: Detroit Alderman; 1835: Director of the Detroit to St. Joseph RR Co.; 1836: Delegate from Wayne Co. to 1st convention of assent; 1838-9: Senator from 1st District. Trustee of Detroit Savings Bank; 1849: A corporator of the Peninsular Bank. A forwarding and commission merchant at foot of Woodward Avenue. Democrat. Died, Mar. 23, 1855. (blue index cards)
