Motley, Teri McCannel Lamb, 1943-

The eldest daughter of Louise Walker McCannel and Daniel Defenbacher, Teri McCannel Lamb Motley graduated from Northrop Collegiate School in Minneapolis, Minnesota (1961), Radcliffe College (1965), and Andover Newton Theological School (2000). In 1969 she married George Lamb and the couple had three children: Hudson (who suffered some brain damage at birth), Julia, and Catherine. Years after they divorced, she reconnected with Herbert J. Motley (Harvard, 1965), whom she had dated while attending Radcliffe and was married in 1999. In 2009, Teri Motley was ordained as a minister of the Pulpit Rock Church in Nahant Village, Massachusetts. She now serves at the reverend of the United Church of Jaffrey in New Hampshire.
