Rochester Institute of Technology. Office of Veteran Affairs,

Hide Profile

The Office of Veteran Affairs provided information on the benefits available to individuals who had served in the U.S. Armed Services. The office educated veterans on additional grants, loans, and programs that they could apply for to help cover the expenses of attending college, and assisted students in finding part-time work. Additionally, the office developed advertising initiatives, such as Public Service Announcements, to inform local veterans of the opportunities available at the Rochester Institute of Technology. By 1980, the Rochester Institute of Technology had the highest percentage of enrolled veterans among four-year institutions in New York State.
