Josephine Tilden was a member of the faculty from 1896 until her retirement as Professor Emeritus of Botany in 1937. She and Prof. Conway MacMillan were largely responsible for founding the Minnesota Seaside Station at Port Renfrew, Vancouver Island, B.C.
