The company was organized in 1924 to acquire the properties of the Mesaba Motor Company, which operated several bus routes in northern Minnesota. Following acquisition, the properties were transferred to a sibling firm, the Northland Transportation Company (Minnesota), which operated the properties and acquired additional out of state lines. The Delaware corporation was dissolved in 1929.
