<p>b.May 31, 1714 in Phila delphia., Pa., son of
Thomas amd Sarah Redman. His parents died when was young.<p>
<p>entered an apprenticeship in Phila.,Pa.<p>
<p>1736., moved and settled in Haddonfield, N.J.
Became a minister among Friends about this time. In
1743 he traveled to New England in company with Edmund
Peckover of England.<p>
<p>m.(2d) Mercy Davis, in 1747. l child. Their
home was always open to receive guests. He visited most of the meetings in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.<p>
<p>d. Sept. 23, 1766, Haddonfield, N.J. in his 53rd year.<p>
